This
was our first real backpacking trip with all four of us. Julie carried Forester and I carried the gear for all of us. It was just
a small overnight trip but Ilana walked about 5 miles the second day all
by herself! This trail is incredible. We had to walk over
several beaver dams, some of which weren't very steady. It looks
like fall but is really early June. It stormed next to us that
night. We could see the lightning and hear the thunder but we
didn't get any rain.

below. He doesn't go to sleep at night without his blanket so we
carried it with us. |
